Login to your private hosting server as root and execute the "poweroff" or "shutdown -h now" command. This will shut down your operating system, flush any pending changes to the disk, and then terminate power to your server.
Visit the control panel and select the option to power on your private hosting server.
Note: It is not advisable to use the power off button on the control panel to shut down your server, as it may corrupt the drive. It is also advisable to connect to the console after powering (booting) the server.
